Live Free or Die Hard (2007)

This is a typical Martin Scorsese film with plenty of action and a lot of violence. If this was Scorsese's first film we would all think it was fantastic. However, when you have movies like Goodfellas in your past, you have quite the reputation to live up to. The cast is very great and plot is solid, it was just missing that extra something that would have bumped it up to 4.5 or 5.
This is a very lengthy movie that is really confusing while you are watching it. It is one of those movies that you would have to watch again to really understand what is going on but unfortunately, I have not desire to watch it again. It seems like it is a really good story, base on true events, that just gets along the way. Josh Hartnet and Scarlet Johansson do a good job acting but it is not enough to really bring this movie together.
I think that the first one was a bit better but in general I am not a huge fan of this series. They are somewhat entertaining but in the end they are a bit odd. Judging from the end of this movie there will be a sequel too.
I didn't know what to expect when I rented this movie but I was pleasantly surprised. It is a sad, funny, quirky movie about a family struggling with life. Each character has their own set of problems and just like most families all of the individual problems become family problems. At the end of the day you can't really explain what this movie is about, you just have to watch and enjoy.
Classic Bond film starring Pierce Brosnan and Terri Hatcher. I watched this film again recently and I have to say that it really looks dated compared to todays Bond films. Pierce also seemed to be so much cheesier than I remember too. As cheesy as it is, I still love Bond flicks and this is no exception.
This is a suspense thriller starring Robin Williams that is based on a true story. Overall, this is a solid movie that is worth a watch but I found it to be a bit dull. You keep expecting something big to happen but nothing really does. The director does a good job of building Hitchcock-like suspense but unlike Hitchcock movies, there is no culmination into one big scene that reveals that true story.
I don't think this movie could have been any worse. It is always too bad when Hollywood takes a classic and just rips it to shreds.
A very powerful, well made movie about the 1972 Munich Olympic hostage situation. A very interesting and disturbing story based on true events.
